Confidence and Trust
All candidates are interviewed thoroughly so we can assess their skills and experience
and get to know their strengths, weaknesses and attitudes. We can then determine
what placements suit them best.
Every
candidate under goes a Criminal Records Bureau check.
Identification
checks including qualification and GSCC registration
authentication are also obtained.
References covering the previous five years, one
of which must be from the current or last employer
are always undertaken. Candidates are then required
to sign a health declaration questionnaire stating
that they are in good health.
Our recruitment and vetting procedures have been
specifically designed to comply with the Warner report
recommendations.
Once thoroughly vetted, all potential workers are
invited back into the office to be formally accepted
onto the register. This includes a verbal induction
on our policies and procedures and clarification of
the Mason Clay Social Care candidate charter to clarify
the standard of service you expect.
Temporary staff are all issued with an ID card which
they take with them to all placements and are fully
briefed on our client's requirements before being
sent on the booking.

accessible through the internet. This is placed on
the locum's record enabling us to asses a candidate's
suitability for their next assignment.
Technology
Mason Clay has invested in a state of the art database system which enables
it to meet clients' needs at a moment's notice. The system can be accessed
remotely by trusts to select staff. We can SMS text to locum staff
at a moments notice.
